Eventet lokale në Prishtinë - përgjatë muajit shtator, 2024
Prishtina po bëhet qendra e artit dhe kulturës këtë shtator, me dy nga ngjarjet më të rëndësishme në kalendarin artistik të Kosovës: Edicioni i 16-të i Prishtina International Film Festival (PriFest) dhe edicioni i 12-të i FemArt – Festivali Ndërkombëtar i Artisteve dhe Aktivisteve.
Të dy festivalet sjellin një pasuri të madhe krijimtarie nga artistë të vendeve të ndryshme dhe përfaqësojnë një angazhim të fuqishëm ndaj artit, aktivizmit dhe ndryshimeve shoqërore.
Prishtina International Film Festival (PriFest)

Edicioni i 16-të i Prishtina International Film Festival (PriFest) do të zhvillohet nga data 10 deri më 15 shtator 2024, në Kino Armata, Prishtinë. Ky festival i rëndësishëm do të prezantojë 20 filma premierë në kategori të ndryshme, duke përfshirë filma të gjatë artistik ballkanik, filma të shkurtër dhe të mesëm. Sivjet, fokusi është në kinematografinë bashkëkohore britanike. Filmat që do të shfaqen vijnë nga shumë vende të botës, përfshirë SHBA, Poloninë, Francën, Zvicrën dhe vendet e Ballkanit, me pjesëmarrje të fuqishme nga regjisorët vendorë. Gjithashtu, festivalin do ta shoqërojë ndarja e çmimeve prestigjioze, si "Hyjnesha e Kuqe" dhe "Hyjnesha e Artë" për kategoritë kryesore të garuesve. Përveç shfaqjes së filmave, PriFest organizon edhe platformën e industrisë filmike, "PriForum," me panele, punëtori dhe masterclass për të mbështetur zhvillimin e kinematografisë në Kosovë dhe rajon.

Në anën tjetër, FemArt – Festivali Ndërkombëtar i Artisteve dhe Aktivisteve, organizohet nga Artpolis dhe zhvillohet këtë vit nga 25 deri më 30 shtator 2024 në Prishtinë. Themeluar nga Zana Hoxha, festivali ka një qëllim të fuqishëm: promovimin e artit, aktivizmit, feminizmit dhe fuqizimin e gruas në Kosovë dhe rajon. Në edicionin e tij të 12-të, me temën “MOTËRZIMI: n’Kohë Lufte dhe Paqe” festivali mbledh mbi 200 artiste dhe aktiviste nga e gjithë bota, duke ofruar një platformë për të ndarë krijimet e tyre dhe për të adresuar sfidat me të cilat përballen gratë dhe grupet e margjinalizuara.
Prishtina is becoming the center of art and culture this September, with two of the most important events in Kosovo's artistic calendar: the 16th edition of the Prishtina International Film Festival (PriFest) and the 12th edition of FemArt – the International Festival of Artists and Activists.
Both festivals bring a wealth of creativity from artists from different countries and represent a strong commitment to art, activism and social change.
Prishtina International Film Festival (PriFest)
September 10-15, 2024
The 16th edition of the Prishtina International Film Festival (PriFest) will take place from September 10 to 15, 2024, at Kino Armata, Prishtina. This important festival will present 20 premiere films in various categories, including Balkan feature films, short and medium films. This year, the focus is on contemporary British cinema. The films to be screened come from many countries around the world, including the USA, Poland, France, Switzerland and the Balkan countries, with strong participation from local filmmakers. Also, the festival will be accompanied by the distribution of prestigious awards, such as "Red Goddess" and "Golden Goddess" for the main categories of contestants. In addition to screening films, PriFest also organizes the film industry platform, "PriForum," with panels, workshops and masterclasses to support the development of cinematography in Kosovo and the region.
FemArt
September 25-30, 2024
On the other hand, FemArt – the International Festival of Artists and Activists, is organized by Artpolis and takes place this year from September 25 to 30, 2024 in Pristina. Founded by Zana Hoxha, the festival has a powerful goal: the promotion of art, activism, feminism and the empowerment of women in Kosovo and the region. In its 12th edition, themed “SISTERSHOOD: IN TIMES OF WAR AND PEACE,” the festival gathers over 200 artists and activists from around the world, providing a platform to share their creations and address challenges with faced by women and marginalized groups.
